"J'ai dit au dirigeant russe: la Crimée nous appartient, et il ne peut pas y avoir de compromis à ce sujet", a affirmé le président investi.
Il s'est en outre déclaré résolument hostile à l'idée de transformer l'Ukraine en un Etat fédéral.
"La thèse de la fédéralisation n'aucun fondement! L'Ukraine a été et restera un Etat unitaire", a martelé M. Porochenko.
La présidentielle en Ukraine s'est déroulée le 25 mai sur fonds de crise politique profonde et d'opération militaire menée par Kiev contre les partisans de la fédéralisation dans le sud-est du pays.
Moscou estime qu'il s'agit d'une opération punitive et appelle Kiev à la cesser immédiatement.

Poroshenko says Ukraine will not give up Crimea...
ReplyDeleteUkrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said in a combative inaugural speech that Ukraine would not give up Crimea, the Black Sea peninsula that Russia annexed from it in March.
"Crimea was, is, and will be Ukrainian," he said in an emotional address after his swearing-in. He was greeted with a standing ovation.
"I put that clearly to the Russian leader in Normandy," he added, referring to his meeting with President Vladimir Putin at D-Day commemorations yesterday.
He stressed the unity of Ukraine, which is fighting a pro-Russian separatist uprising in the east, and said it would not become a federalised state as advocated by Moscow.
