Πούτιν: «Η ενεργειακή συνεργασία με την Ουκρανία βρίσκεται σε περίπλοκο, να μην πω κρίσιμο στάδιο»

Συνάντηση με τον ρώσο πρωθυπουργό Ντμίτρι Μεντβέντεφ και τον υπουργό Ενέργειας Αλεξάντερ Νόβακ είχε σήμερα ο πρόεδρος Βλαντίμιρ Πούτιν όπου συζήτησαν μεταξύ άλλων και το καυτό θέμα του χρέους της Ουκρανίας στην Ρωσία για προμήθεια φυσικού αερίου.

«Η κατάσταση στην συνεργασία με την Ουκρανία στον τομέα στης ενέργειας είναι περίπλοκη, για να μην πω κρίσιμη» δήλωσε ο πρόεδρος Πούτιν. Σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία που κατέθεσε ο Ντμίτρι Μεντβέντεφ, το συνολικό χρέος της Ουκρανίας προς τη Ρωσία ανέρχεται σε 16, 6 δισεκατομμύρια δολάρια.

Το χρέος του Κιέβου για την προμήθεια ρωσικού φυσικού αερίου μόνο μέσα στον Απρίλιο ανέρχεται ήδη στα 2.238 εκατομμύρια δολάρια συμπλήρωσε o Αλεξάντερ Νόβακ.

 Russian President Vladimir Putin has asked the gas monopoly Gazprom to refrain from demanding prepayment for gas from Ukraine until more consultations have been held.
“I would ask the government and Gazporm to refrain from using this resource stemming from the contract in whatever form,” Putin said. “If, of course, our partners are prepared to have these consultations. If not, then it is out of the question.”

• In that case, Putin said, Russia would be acting strictly in compliance with the contract.

“I will give thought to consultations with our partners. I am asking the Foreign Ministry to arrange for this work,” Putin said.
