Russia's defence ministry said Monday that an agreement has been reached to evacuate injured soldiers from the Azovstal steel plant in Ukraine's port city of Mariupol.
An agreement was reached on Monday to evacuate wounded Ukrainian soldiers from the Azovstal steel plant, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The humanitarian operation to evacuate civilians from the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol concluded on Saturday due to unprecedented measures by Russia with 51 people, including 11 children, having been rescued, the head of the Russian National Defense Control Center, Mikhail Mizintsev, said.
The Russian forces will open humanitarian corridors for evaluation of civilians from Mariupol's Azovstal plant from May 5-7, Russia's inderdepartment center for humanitarian response said on Wednesday.
Ukraine will continue the evacuation from the city of Mariupol which began on Sunday afternoon, head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak said on Sunday evening.
Russian troops and the forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) will suspend hostilities at 2:00 pm in order to provide civilians who may be trapped at the Azovstal steel complex in the city of Mariupol with the possibility to exit the facility, Head of Russia’s National Defense Management Center Mikhail Mizintsev said on Monday.
