US embargo on Syria a crime against humanity- Bashour says – Syrian Arab News Agency

Founding President of the Arab National Forum, Maan Bashour, called for lifting the coercive and illegitimate US embargo against Syria.

“At a time when the Israeli and US aggressions on Syrian territory are continuing, an attempt of the US administration to impose new sanctions on it under the title of the ‘Anti-Narcotics Law’, which Washington takes as a pretext to tighten the siege on the Syrian people and prevent them from importing basic materials for them, like medicine and others, and besieging it on the commercial, economic and monetary level by all methods”
Bashour said in a statement.

Bashour added that this embargo on Syria comes as a continuation of the global war against it, which has been going on for more than 11 years, and it proves Syria’s steadfastness and standing as a people, army and leadership in the face of this war and its goals.
