6 dead and more than 73,000 people evicted from their homes by heavy rains in several states of Brazil

Six people have died and more than 73,000 have been evicted from their homes due to heavy rains hitting several states in Brazil.

In Alagoas, in the northeast of the country, 56 municipalities declared an emergency situation and it was in this state that the six people lost their lives.

Likewise, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, at least seven municipalities are in a state of public calamity.
