À Washington, sous un soleil quasiment estival, la foule affluait vers la Maison Blanche et la Black Lives Matter Plaza, une partie de l'artère menant à la résidence présidentielle ainsi renommée au printemps dernier pour dénoncer les violences policières contre les Africains-Américains. La capitale fédérale est un bastion démocrate.
