"While discussing Nagorno-Karabakh, they expressed deep concern about the ongoing large-scale hostilities in the conflict zone and increasing involvement of extremists arriving from Syria and Libya into it," the statement says.
"The presidents exchanged in-depth views concerning the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis and reached an agreement that the hostilities need to be brought to an end so as to ensure return to negotiations on a realistic basis," the Elysee Palace said. Paris pointed out that the main goal was "to ensure the further stay of the Armenian population in that region and also to put an end to sufferings of the civilian population."
According to the Kremlin, Putin informed Macron in detail about steps taken by Russia to achieve a ceasefire at the soonest possible time and to resume talks. El presidente ruso, Vladímir Putin, y su homólogo francés, Emmanuel Macron, debatieron en una conversación telefónica que mantuvieron la lucha antiterrorista, el conflicto en Nagorno Karabaj y la situación del coronavirus, entre otros temas, comunicó el servicio de prensa del Kremlin.
ReplyDelete"En relación con los recientes atentados terroristas en Francia, ambas partes subrayaron la determinación de luchar contra el terrorismo en todas sus formas", dice el comunicado.
Además, los dos líderes examinaron la situación en torno a Nagorno Karabaj y expresaron "una seria preocupación por los continuos enfrentamientos de gran escala en la zona del conflicto y la participación cada vez más activa de los extremistas procedentes de Siria y Libia".
Putin y Macron también expresaron su interés en "intensificar la cooperación en la lucha contra la infección por coronavirus".
Asimismo, los dos presidentes intercambiaron opiniones sobre el conflicto en este de Ucrania y la crisis en Libia.
