Russia’s Antonov-26 plane has not violated Estonia’s borders : Russian Mod

Russia’s military plane Antonov-26, which made a scheduled flight from Kaliningrad to St. Petersburg, strictly followed the established route and did not violate Estonia’s border, the Russian Defense Ministry has said.

Earlier, a number of mass media quoted the General Staff of Estonia’s defense force as saying Russia’s Antonov-26 plane had violated the country’s air border near Vaindloo island in the Gulf of Finland.

"The flight proceeded along the expected route. The plane did not deviate from it and there were no violations of Estonia’s airspace, which is confirmed by objective monitoring means," the Defense Ministry’s press-service said, adding that all Russian military planes were invariably carried out in strict compliance with international treaties regarding the use of air space.
