Turkey refused on flights memorandum before the attack on the Su-24

Turkey has refused to agree to the memorandum on the safety of Syria signed by Moscow and Washington before the attack on the bomber Su-24.

 This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister of Russia Anatoly Antonov transfers on Friday 5 February Tass. The Turkish military also blocked the line “hot link” with Moscow not in response to urgent requests.

“In the framework of the memorandum Americans pledged not only to inform all members of the coalition of the existing agreements but also to guarantee that all participants will be strictly guided by the provisions of this document. According to the deputy head of the military department in charge of international military cooperation the Turkish military which is formally part of the US coalition refused to confirm their commitment to the memorandum saying that this issue relates to the competence of the Foreign Ministry. “Moreover they blocked the line” hot link “unilaterally without responding to our urgent requests.
