Peskov commented on the statement of the US Treasury about Putin’s involvement in corruption

The corruption of Russian President Vladimir Putin in which he was accused by the US Treasury – fiction. On this as reported by RNS he said on Monday January 25 a spokesman for the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.

“None of these questions [about Putin’s involvement in corruption] does not require an answer because they are pure fiction” – said Peskov

Earlier on January 25 the representative of the US Treasury Adam Shubin in an interview with “Bi-bi-si” accused Putin of involvement in corruption. “We saw him [Putin] enriches their friends close allies and marginalize those who are not considered friends and who do not have state assets. Whether Russia’s energy wealth or other government contracts it gives it [assets] to those who will serve him and excludes those who do not will. For me it’s corruption “- said the official.

In Russia there are sanctions against a number of countries particularly the US and EU member states. Restrictive measures have been introduced against the background of the Crimea to Russia in March 2014 and then – in connection with the conflict in the east of Ukraine to which according to numerous statements of Moscow it is not.

For example in the EU blacklist includes one hundred and fifty individuals (both Russians and Ukrainians) as well as companies organizations and associations (in particular the Crimean and according to the EU the separatist).
