Serbia is willing to support the United States in fight against the
Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIS), Serbian Prime Minister
Aleksandar Vucic wrote in a letter addressed to US President Barack
Obama on Tuesday.
Vucic on Tuesday gave the letter to US ambassador to Serbia Michael Kirby, according to a statement issued after their meeting.
"Serbian government supports the fight against ISIS and is willing to help in this fight, in accordance with its limited resources," the statement said.
During their meeting in the building of the Serbian government, Vucic and Kirby also talked about relations in the Western Balkans and upcoming economic reforms in Serbia.
The statement said that they also talked about Serbia's involvement in the fight to suppress spreading of Ebola as well as the Open Skies Agreement that would enable Air Serbia to operate flights to the United States.
