EU parliament to ratify EU-Ukraine association agreement from September 15-18

BRUSSELS, September 6 (Itar-Tass) - The European parliament will ratify the EU-Ukrainian association agreement during the session in Strasbourg from September 15-18, the parliament press service told Itar-Tass on Saturday.
The European parliament’s committee for foreign affairs will have a special meeting on September 9 to take the decision to speed up the process and ratify the agreement at the next session.

Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko said the agreement would be forwarded to the Ukrainian parliament for the ratification in mid-September.

Ukraine and the EU signed the political part of the association agreement in March and the economic part in June.
