Turkish FM, Ahmet Davutoglu, calls for Ukraine's territorial integrity.

"Every political formula should be considered to secure Ukraine's territorial integrity, says Ahmet Davutoglu.

Ukraine’s current government and the next government to come to power should represent all sides in the country, says Turkish foreign minister Tuesday.
Ahmet Davutoglu met U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and President of the U.N. General Assembly in New York after attending the Caribbean CARICOM summit held in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Tuesday.
Davutoglu said Turkey displays the same attitude as its allies regarding Ukraine's territorial integrity. 

The Parliament of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the Sevastopol City Council voted to adopt a declaration of independence from Ukraine during an extraordinary session on Tuesday. 
"Every political formula should be taken into consideration to secure Ukraine's territorial integrity and this principle should not be violated," he said.
Davutoglu also expressed support for Crimean Tatars. "Turkey always stands by Crimean Tatars and will continue to support them," he added. 
Talks also touched on the 40-year-old Cyprus dispute between the Turkish and Greek Cypriots and Syria crisis. 
Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot negotiators made simultaneous visits to the Turkish capital Ankara and Greek capital of Athens to end the dispute in February. 
Davutoglu said "this new process" has been supported both by Turkey, Greece and the international community. 
"We hope we will reach a solution this time," he said.  

• The island has been divided into Greek and Turkish sides since a Greek Cypriot coup was followed by a Turkish "peace mission" to aid Turkish Cypriots in the north in 1974.

The "Greek Cypriot administration" is a member of the European Union and recognized by all internationally, except Turkey. 

• The minister also expressed hope that the humanitarian crisis in Syria would not be overshadowed by the crisis in Ukraine.
