Eight people have reportedly suffered injuries in Russia’s Rostov Region after a drone carrying an explosive device crashed and blew up, Governor Vasily Golubev said.
"According to preliminary reports, eight people suffered injuries near an airfield in the Morozovsky District after an explosive device attached to a drone that came down blew up. They were carrying out investigative activities at the drone crash site. The injured have been taken to the hospital for medical treatment," the governor wrote on Telegram.
Golubev added that additional medical teams had been dispatched to Morozovsk. Investigative efforts are underway.

Ukraine has carried out a drone attack against targets in southern Russia, and claims to have destroyed six Russian planes at an airbase in Rostov region.
ReplyDeleteThe Morozovsk base houses Su-27 and Su-34 aircraft used on the front line in Ukraine, the sources said.
There has been no word from Russia on reports of an airfield attack.
