Syria is ready for new wars against Israel, Foreign Minister said

Syria has fought several wars against Israel and is ready for more, Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Miqdad said.

"Syria has fought several wars against the Zionist entity (Israel - ed.) and is ready for other wars. Syria will decide when and where," Miqdad said during a press conference in Damascus with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, which was broadcast on Syrian television .

The head of the Syrian Foreign Ministry added that the occupation of part of the country’s territory by Israel, the United States and Turkey is illegal, emphasizing that Syria is “ready to liberate its lands.”
