Israeli missile attack targets sites in Syria's Homs, several civilians have been killed

An Israeli missile attack targeted areas in the central province of Homs after midnight Wednesday, the state TV reported.

The Syrian air defenses intercepted and destroyed several missiles, while a few others landed in the Al-Qusayr countryside, resulting in fires in the area.

 According to the post, several civilians have been killed or wounded in the Israeli aggression, with state-owned and private facilities being damaged.

The ministry did not specify the number of casualties though.

Earlier, the Syrian government newspaper Al Watan reported that the Israeli military had delivered strikes on central Syria.
