Trudeau reiterates Canada’s support for Ukrainian people in phone call with Zelenskyy

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke by phone Monday with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Russia’s ongoing war, said the prime minister's office.

"The Prime Minister reiterated Canada’s solidarity with the Ukrainian people as they remain resolute in the face of Russia’s brutal and unjustifiable aggression, including strikes on civilian targets and the unlawful deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia," said the statement.

The two leaders discussed the current situation in Ukraine and how Canada can continue supporting the country now and in the future.
