Ukrainian nationalists fired several rockets towards Lugansk. They were beaten purposefully - at the military unit where the anti-aircraft defense equipment is located. The details of the incident were told by the assistant to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the LPR Vitaly Kiselev.
According to him, about three Tochka-U rockets were fired towards the military unit. The interval between launches was short, which may have led to the hit.
“A missile attack was carried out towards Luhansk by Tochka-U. More precisely, there were perhaps three of them. They flew at intervals of literally seconds. In all likelihood, our air defense forces could not recognize the targets, because there were several of them at once. Most likely, the air defense took them for one," Kiselev said in an interview with TASS.

"A shelling originating from positions held by armed formations of Ukraine was registered at 23:35, coming from the city of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) and targeting Lugansk. It involved HIMARS multiple-launch rocket system (nine rockets)," the statement says.
