Russia’s Human Rights Council unveils evidence of Ukrainian army’s terrorist methods - TASS

The Russian Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights has sent additional materials to international organizations and foreign politicians about the crimes committed by Ukraine’s armed forces and national battalions against civilians, the documents emphasize that the Ukrainian army uses terrorist methods.

The Council's standing committee on international cooperation in the field of human rights continues to process new information on the crimes of the Ukrainian armed forces and the national battalions against civilians in Donbass and Ukraine, the Council’s telegram channel reported on Thursday. The Council has begun sending abroad its fifth compilation of materials on this topic, the report said. In particular, materials are sent to international organizations, foreign embassies, and personally to politicians, diplomats, journalists and public figures.

"Terrorist methods of warfare have become the norm for the Ukrainian army. For example, in early May 2022, during negotiations in Mariupol, Azov battalion fighters even proposed exchanging the civilians they allegedly protect for food and medicine. We ask that the information provided be considered when assessing what is happening in Ukraine, and we once again call for international pressure on the Ukrainian authorities to put an end to these flagrant human rights violations," Valery Fadeyev, adviser to the Russian President and head of the Council, said in a cover letter.

It is reported that among the materials sent is the testimony of retired French military officer Adrien Boke about war crimes by the Ukrainian military. "It shocks me that Europe is supplying weapons to fighters who wear neo-Nazi symbols. They do not talk about it, but it is enough to look closely and it turns out that this is the emblem of the former SS, and it is used everywhere in Ukraine," the Council quotes Boke, who was in the conflict zone as a humanitarian worker. According to the Council, the Frenchman also refutes the crimes attributed by the West to Russia in the Ukrainian town of Bucha. "There were corpses that were brought in especially for the photo shoot," Boke said.

The materials prepared by the Council expose well-known hoaxes. For example, according to the Council, photos of children "in the basements of Kharkov" from Ukrainian Telegram channels were actually taken in a bomb shelter in Donetsk, where the elderly and children were hiding from the Ukrainian armed forces.
