Taliban struggle to provide security amid ISIS-K attacks in Afghanistan | DW News

 India seeks to become a power player in Afghanistan. It's hosting a regional summit focusing on security challenges including the threat of terrorism emanating from the country. 

While regional nations meet about the stability in Afghanistan, the Taliban are struggling to provide that much-needed stability and security. 

Since their take over this past summer, there's been a surge in violence. ISIS-K, 

The local affiliate of the so-called Islamic State has claimed responsibility for dozens of suicide bombings. And the Taliban's unfulfilled promise of protection is leaving Afghans feeling unsafe.
