John Brennan, who was the head of the CIA between March 2013 and January 2017, tweeted that the “Deaths in Gaza result of utter disregard of Messers Trump & Netanyahu for Palestinian rights & homeland”, Middle East Monitor reported.
He went on to critique moving the US embassy to Jerusalem and explain that the President has “destroyed” the US’ role as “peacemaker”.
On Monday, the Israeli army killed 63 peaceful protesters in the Gaza Strip, while more than 2,700 others were injured.
