Some nations in the West wanted the attempted coup d'etat that took place in July 2016 against the Turkish state to succeed, denounced Turkey's Foreign Affairs minister on Wednesday.
Speaking to the semi-public new agency Anadolu, Mevlut Cavauoglu said that, after the failed coup d'etat on July 15, 2016, several countries in the West had committed serious errors.
"Some of them, with anti-Turkish sentiments, desired the success of the coup," the minister said.
