The Turkish Air Force killed 28 and wounded over 100 people east of the Syrian city of Aleppo on Wednesday, the Syrian Democratic Council told Sputnik.
Turkish aviation carried out a raid east of the Syrian city of Aleppo on Wednesday, killing 28 people and wounding more than 100, a member of the Syrian Democratic Council told Sputnik. "Twenty-eight people were killed and more than hundred wounded in the bombing by the Turkish aircraft… in Al Bab in rural eastern Aleppo," Risan Haddou said.
Haddou appealed for international organizations to open an investigation in the incident and to stop what he called Turkish aggression and to provide medical and humanitarian aid.
On August 24, the Euphrates Shield operation was launched by the Turkish army with support of US-led coalition aircraft to clear the Syrian border town of Jarablus and the surrounding area of the Daesh jihadist group, outlawed in Russia and many other countries.
Following the move, Syrian Kurds and Damascus accused Ankara of violating Syria's territorial integrity.
