UN report: Assad’s troops and the ISIS "militants" in Syria used chemical weapons

UN Secretary-General ban Ki-moon sent to the UN Security Council third report of the joint mission of the Organization for the prohibition of chemical weapons (OPCW) and the United Nations to investigate cases of chemical weapons use in Syria. It reports on the results of the investigation into nine incidents involving toxic substances.

The report will be discussed at the security Council meeting scheduled for August 30.

Shortly thereafter the document will be made public, according to the UN news Center.

As reports RIA Novosti, citing a source in the UN, the Commission was able to establish ISIS responsible for three of the nine reporting incidents.

In two attacks, the experts were convicted of Syrian government troops, one of the "militants" of the terrorist group «Islamic state».
