A machete-wielding Syrian refugee on Sunday murdered a pregnant woman and wounded two people in the southwest German town of Reutlingen near Stuttgart, Sky News reports.
Police said there there was no evidence the incident was a 'terrorist attack'.
The suspect was arrested and is a 21-year-old asylum-seeker from Syria who was known to the police, Bild reported. A police statement said he "had a dispute" with the victim before killing her.
"The perpetrator was completely out of his mind," an eyewitness told Bild.
