France launches first missions over Iraq, Syria from Charles de Gaulle carrier. Cameron offered France the use of a British airbase in Cyprus

France launched its first missions against the Islamic State (IS) group in Iraq and Syria from its Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier, military sources said Monday, as British PM David Cameron met with French President François Hollande in Paris.
 
Cameron offered France the use of a British airbase in Cyprus as he voiced his support for French strikes against the IS group in Iraq and Syria during a joint press conference with Hollande. 

The two leaders also visited the Bataclan concert hall in honour of the vicitms of the November 13 attacks in Paris, which claimed the lives of 130 people.
