Όπως έγραψε στο τουίτερ ο Μάρτιν Σελμάγερ, επικεφαλής του γραφείου του Προέδρου της Επιτροπής, ένα τέταρτο πριν από τις δυο τα ξημερώματα, οι θεσμοί έλαβαν τη νέα ελληνική πρόταση, η οποία αποτελεί «μια καλή βάση» για τις συνομιλίες που θα ακολουθήσουν σήμερα στη Σύνοδο Κορυφής της ευρωζώνης.
Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες, υπό συζήτηση από την Αθήνα φαίνεται να είναι μεταξύ άλλων η αύξηση του ΦΠΑ στην εστίαση στο 23% και η κατάργηση του μειωμένου ΦΠΑ στα τουριστικά νησιά.
Αναμένεται να προβλέπει επίσης έκτακτη εισφορά για τις εταιρίες που έχουν καθαρά κέρδη από 500 χιλιάδες ευρώ και άνω και αύξηση της εισφοράς αλληλεγγύης για εισοδήματα από 30 χιλιάδες ευρώ.
Θα περιλαμβάνει επίσης κατάργηση των πρόωρων συνταξιοδοτήσεων από 1/1/2016.

Selmayr, who is German, added: "In German, 'eine Zangengeburt'" - meaning a "forceps delivery". He gave no details. Officials from the EU and Greece's other creditors have been working for four months to overcome differences and release funds to Athens, fearing it will run out of cash this month.

ReplyDeleteUn sommet européen extraordinaire doit se tenir lundi à Bruxelles pour éviter à la Grèce un défaut de paiement aux conséquences imprévisibles, quelques heures après la présentation par Athènes de nouvelles propositions à ses créanciers qui y voient une "bonne base".
"Nouvelle proposition grecque reçue par M. Juncker, Mme Lagarde et la Banque centrale européenne. Bonne base pour faire des progrès au sommet de la zone euro", a indiqué dans la nuit de dimanche à lundi Martin Selmayr, le chef de cabinet du président de la Commission, sur son compte Twitter.
En allemand, il a évoqué un processus qui s'est fait "aux forceps", alors que les propositions grecques étaient attendues dans l'après-midi de lundi par les créanciers......rtbf.be

The euro rose to nearly 1.14 against the dollar in early trading on Monday, in expectation of progress in the talks.
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker remarked that the new proposals enabled a "forceps delivery" of an agreement between the International Monetary Fund, the European Central Bank, the EU, and the Eurogroup of ministers from the 19 Member States in the eurozone. Junckers compared completing the agreement with a doctor's delivering a baby by pulling it out with forceps, a strenuous birth.......aa.com.tr

France hails 'quality' work on latest Greek debt proposals...
ReplyDeleteFrance's finance minister Monday hailed the "quality" work around Athens' latest proposals to end Greece's debt crisis, hours before European leaders were to hold an emergency summit on the issue.
"I see the work that has been done. It is quality work," Michel Sapin told French radio, adding that the negotiations were proceeding in "good conditions."
Earlier the office of European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said the proposals, which the Greek premier detailed in a phone call with German, French and EU leaders, offered "a good basis for progress.".........AFP...........dailystar.com.lb
