OSCE suggests establishing joint commission to investigate bus shelling in Donetsk Region

The OSCE monitoring mission in Ukraine has proposed establishing a joint group to investigate the tragedy near the locality of Volnovakha in the Donetsk Region, where a bus was shelled on Tuesday, deputy chief of the mission Alexander Hug told journalists.

Passengers of a bus that got under gunfire died of the impact of objects having high kinetic energy, Hug added.

He said he was unable to identify the type of the weapon for the time being and could only say the incapacitating fragments had different sizes.

The OSCE has suggested establishing a local truce around the Donetsk airport and starting joint patrols of the territory, Hug added.
