FYROM companies suspected of re-exporting goods to Russia (FYROM news)

Government of Skopje has ordered an inquiry in order to find out if a company from FYROM is involved in re-exporting agricultural products from EU countries to Russia.

Minister of Economy, Bekim Neziri says that if these suspicions are confirmed, all companies involved will face heavy penalties.....

........Authorities from the Ministry of Agriculture have also launched their inspections on the field.

FYROM must prove that fruits and vegetables exporting to Russia originate from the country. Due to such suspicions, FYROM may be forbidden to export food products in the Russian market. The general volume of trade between FYROM and Russia in the first half of 2014 amounted to 74.7 million USD. Compared to the same period a year ago, the volume of general trade has gone down by 65.3 million USD. Exports mainly consist on wine, grape and vegetables. /ibna/
