PARIS - US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Tuesday there was "no
discrepancy" between the United States and Turkey with regard to the
strategy for fighting Islamic State militants (ISIS/ISIL) trying to take over a
Kurdish town in Syria near the Turkish border.
Kerry, in Paris for talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, added that Ankara would define its role according to its own timetable.
