Turkish Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu: Greek doctors can work in Turkey. -7.000 doctors needed employment in Greece according to the news, and Turkey needs them also

Greek doctors who seek employment abroad can serve in Turkey, Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu stresses during a groundbreaking ceremony of a Dental Center in Istanbul (Constantinople).

- Turkish Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu said Greek doctors are welcome to work in Turkey, during the groundbreaking ceremony of Oral and Dental Health Center in Kucukcekmece in Istanbul (Constantinople) on Sunday.

Muezzinoglu said that seven thousand doctors needed employment in Greece according to the news, and Turkey needs them also.

"Our doors are open to seven thousand doctors in Greece according to the news. I would like to invite them to serve this country with their knowledge and experience," he said.

"There is a Turkey since 2002 which has folded what Greece achieved so far," Turkish Health Minister said, " And now Greece and Europe ask themselves how Turkey succeeds this. Today's news reflected in media is that seven thousand doctors are seeking employment abroad. We need them and they are very welcome to come and work in Turkey," he added.

The economical crisis since 2010 has scattered thousands of Greeks to the four corners of the earth, though this is by no means a new phenomenon for a country where wages have been invariably low and the job market sluggish, especially for scientists and other specialized workers including the health personnel in Greece.
