US sends two bombers to Korean peninsula ahead of Trump visit to Asia

The United States has sent two B-1B strategic bombers flying over the Korean peninsula Thursday, shortly before the US President's tour of Asia, which will have the North Korean crisis as one of the main focal points.

The two strategic bombers conducted sequenced joint exercises with Japanese and South Korean fighters on Thursday, the US Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) said in a statement.
