All villages of Kherson Region to be soon liberated — authorities

All villages of the Kherson Region will be liberated in the near future, Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the regional military-civilian administration, said.

"All the territories of the Kherson Region will be liberated, all the way down to the Nikolayevsk and Odessa regions. It's all a matter of time, and believe me, it will all, as we say, be in the near future," he said during a Rossiya-24 TV broadcast.

Earlier today, Stremousov said during a Rossiya-1 TV broadcast that residents of the Kherson Region’s "gray zones" were moved to safe territory to avoid abuse by the Ukrainian armed forces. Stremousov stressed that the defense line in the Kherson Region had not moved an inch.

Earlier, he reported that Ukrainian troops were able to advance in the Kherson direction in the so-called gray zone, but it cost them very serious losses. He also noted that the situation on the line of contact in the region was stable.
