Turkish military operation in Syria not against anyone but terror groups: Erdoğan

The Turkish military operation in Syria is not against anyone but terror groups, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Dec. 1. 


“The aim of the Euphrates Shield Operation is not any country or person but only terror organizations. No one should doubt this issue that we have uttered over and over, and no one should comment on it in another fashion or try to derail it,” Erdoğan said at his 30th gathering with village chiefs at the Presidential Palace in Ankara

Earlier, Erdoğan on Nov. 29 said that the Turkish military had launched its Euphrates Shield Operation that started in late August in Syria to end Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s rule.
