Update- 30 civilians killed, scores injured in terrorist explosion in a wedding hall in Hasaka, new rocket attacks in Damascus and Aleppo

Thirty civilians were killed on Monday and 90 others were wounded in a terrorist explosion that targeted a hall for weddings in Hasaka province.



A Police source said a suicide terrorist blew himself up with an explosive belt inside al-Sanabel hall for weddings near Safyiah village on Hasaka-Qamishli highway.

The source said that the explosion killed 30 civilians and wounded 90 others.

SANA reporter in Hasaka said that reporter Haval Issa was among the injured as he was near the site of the explosion, adding that his condition is stable after he received the required treatment.

  • Two citizens injured in terrorist rocket attacks on Damascus

Meanwhile, two persons were injured in Damascus on Monday in terrorist rocket shells that hit al-Abasyeen area, Qasaa and Arnous neighborhoods.

A police source told SANA that terrorists of Jaish nal-Islam targeted al-Abasyeen, Qasaa and Arnous with 12 rocket shells, injuring two citizens and causing material damage to the citizens’ properties.
  • 5 persons injured in Aleppo

Later, a police source in Aleppo told SANA that rocket shells, fired by terrorists from the eastern neighborhoods of the city, targeted the citizens’ houses in New Aleppo and Seif al-Dawleh, injuring 5 civilians.
