Syrie: frappe de la coalition contre un dépôt d'armes chimiques de l'EI, des victimes

La coalition internationale a porté mercredi une frappe contre un dépôt d’armes chimiques appartenant à Daech à Deir ez-Zor, faisant des centaines de victimes, a annoncé l’État-major syrien.


Une frappe portée mercredi par la coalition menée par les USA contre un dépôt d'armes chimiques appartenant à Daech dans la région de Djalta, près de la ville de Deir ez-Zor, a provoqué l'intoxication de centaines de personnes, a annoncé le commandement des forces armées syriennes dans un communiqué diffusé par l'agence syrienne Sana.

Selon l'agence, le raid aérien a été mené mercredi à 17h30 (heure locale) et a permis d'éliminer un grand nombre de terroristes de Daech, y compris plusieurs étrangers engagés à leurs côtés.

Suite à la frappe, « un nuage de fumée blanche, puis jaune s'est formé » au-dessus du lieu de l'attaque, ce qui témoigne de la présence importante de substances toxiques. « L'incendie sur les lieux a duré jusqu'à 22h30 », indique le document dont Sputnik a obtenu une copie.

    In a statement issued Thursday, the Army General Command stressed that the airstrike of the “US-led International Alliance” killed hundreds, including large numbers of civilians, due to the suffocation resulted from inhaling toxic substances.

  2. The Syrian army said that an air strike late yesterday by the US-led coalition hit poison gas supplies belonging to the so-called Islamic State, releasing a toxic substance that killed "hundreds including many civilians"...

    The incident in the eastern Deir al-Zor province proved that IS and al-Qaeda-linked militants "possess chemical weapons", a statement by the army flashed on Syrian state TV said.
