Belgrade to consider deploying 1,000 police in Kosovo and Metohija — official - TASS

Belgrade will consider the re-deployment of around 1,000 Serbian police and security officers on the territory of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1244, a high-ranking Serbian government official has said.

Foreign Ministry of FYROM reacted today against the newly appointed US ambassador to Skopje, Jess Baily...

The reaction comes as a result of the fact that ambassador Baily, who is soon expected to start his mission in Skopje, had named the FYROM majority population as “Slavs” in the September 17 hearing in front of the foreign policy committee in the US Senate.

F.Y.R.O.M. PM calls for peaceful protests, violence not tolerated (FYROM news)

F.Y.R.O.M. prime minister called for peaceful protests which will be staged once again on Friday in FYROM against the ruling in the 2012 Smilkovo Lake killings case.

The right of protesting is a democratic one but any violent behavior will not be tolerated, said Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski on Thursday at a press conference here.

A new round of rally against the life imprisonment sentenced to six ethnic Albanians for the murder of five FYROM fishermen near Smilkovo Lake in 2012 will be organized on Friday through social network.

We’re ready to assist Albanians in FYROM, say KLA veterans (FYROM News)

KLA War Veterans Organization has issued a press statement as a reaction to the recent events in FYROM,  by supporting the continuation of protests in FYROM and in the embassies of this state everywhere in the world.

The Organization has also expressed its readiness to help in order to put an end to what they call a Slav repression.

According to them, the unsuccessful repression for the submission of the great Albanian soul, continues on the 21st century, culminating with the recent “Monstra” trial, where without any proof, six Albanian young men were sentenced to life imprisonment.

Συγκρούσεις Αλβανών και αστυνομίας στην ΠΓΔΜ (FYROM News)

Χρήση δακρυγόνων έκανε η αστυνομία της ΠΓΔΜ (FYROM) και πέταξε χειροβομβίδες κρότου-λάμψης κατά περίπου 2.000 Αλβανών της χώρας που βγήκαν στους δρόμους των Σκοπίων για να διαμαρτυρηθούν για την φυλάκιση έξι ατόμων για φόνο και τρομοκρατία.

Σύμφωνα με δημοσιογράφο του πρακτορείου ειδήσεων Reuters, αρκετά άτομα τραυματίστηκαν και πολλά άλλα συνελήφθησαν.

FM Bushati receives his Greek counterpart: Greece must lift the War Act.

At the end of the meeting with the Greek Foreign Minister, Evangelos Venizelos, the Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati declared that this meeting discussed on issues that join the two countries and the intensification of collaboration.

The head of the Albanian diplomacy praised the projects of the Greek government to the Albanian community in Greece, by encouraging their integration.

Amongst others, he praised the role of the Greek community in Albania, by stressing that our country respects the minorities in Albania.

Foreign Minister Bushati: Issues with Greece must be resolved according to international laws

The issues that exist between Greece and Albania must be resolved based on international laws. This has been the declaration of the Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati during the meeting with the Greek Foreign Minister, Evangelos Venizelos.

“Minister Bushati addressed important issues between the two countries, in accordance with basic principles of international laws, good neighboring relations and European perspective. Minister Bushati said that a new relation must be built between the two countries in order to have a sustainable strategic partnership”, states the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The sea border between the two countries is one of the issues which is yet to be resolved between the two countries, after it was ruled down by the Albanian Constitutional Court.

After the massive returns of Albanian emigrants on the Greek border, Albanian police has decided to apply the reciprocity measure.....


 Admir Abrija, director of Border Police has ordered today police forces not to allow the entry of Greek citizens who do not justify their stay in Albania and who do not have persuasive motives for the visit.

The decision came after several unsucessful attempts by the Albanian side to contact Greek police for the return of the Albanian citizens and to find a solution. Around 150 Albanian citizens have been returned in the past few hours in Kakavija and Kapshtice by Greek authorities.

Leader of BDI(DUI): Albanians want to see the solution of the name dispute

The leader of BDI, Ali Ahmeti said that Albanians in FYROM want to see the country as soon as possible a member of NATO and EU and with this they require the solution to the name dispute.

Ahmeti underlined this during a meeting that he held with journalists in Tetovo. Ahmeti said that if the solution to the name dispute will continue to be stalled along with the blockade of the accession process, the citizens of this country will no longer see any hopes in the long-term.

In Albanien, einem der ärmsten Länder Europas, wird heute gewählt. Rund 3,2 Millionen Bürger entscheiden, ob Regierungschef Berisha in eine dritte Amtszeit geht. Manche Stimme wird gekauft - mit Kühlschränken oder Kühen.

πΓΔΜ: Διεκόπη ο τελικός του Κυπέλλου, καθώς Αλβανοί και Σλάβοι αλληλοβρίζονταν

Διεκόπη ο αποψινός τελικός κυπέλλου μεταξύ των ομάδων «Σκέντιγια» και «Τέτεξ», λόγω εθνικιστικών συνθημάτων από τους οπαδούς των δύο ομάδων.

Ο τελικός κυπέλλου άρχισε το βράδυ στο εθνικό στάδιο των Σκοπίων και διεκόπη οριστικά στο 25΄λεπτό, λόγω εθνικιστικών συνθημάτων που φώναζαν κυρίως οι περίπου 3.000 Αλβανοί οπαδοί της «Σκέντιγια».

Οι οπαδοί της «Σκέντιγια» αποδοκίμασαν αρχικά τον εθνικό ύμνο της ΠΓΔΜ ενώ φώναζαν συνθήματα υπέρ του UCK, της ένοπλης οργάνωσης των Αλβανών ανταρτών στην ΠΓΔΜ οι οποίοι το 2001 ενεπλάκησαν σε πολύμηνες ένοπλες συγκρούσεις με τις κυβερνητικές δυνάμεις της ΠΓΔΜ.

Στον Σέρβο πρόεδρο απαγορεύτηκε η είσοδος στο Κόσοβο/Kosovo bars entry to Serbian President Nikolic

Οι αρχές του Κοσόβου απαγόρευσαν την είσοδο στο έδαφός τους στον πρόεδρο της Σερβίας Τόμισλαβ Νίκολιτς.

Ο Νίκολιτς επρόκειτο κατά τη διάρκεια των Χριστουγέννων να επισκεφθεί ένα μοναστήρι κοντά στην Πρίστινα, που αποτελεί κέντρο της Σερβικής Ορθόδοξης Εκκλησίας στο Κόσοβο.

Σύμφωνα με την Πρίστινα, αυτή η απόφαση αποτέλεσε απάντηση στην απαγόρευση εισόδου αξιωματούχων του Κοσόβου στη Σερβία.

Αλβανία: Κοινό ποδοσφαιρικό πρωτάθλημα με το Κόσοβο σχεδιάζει ο Σαλί Μπερίσα

Ο Αλβανός πρωθυπουργός Σαλί Μπερίσα ζήτησε από τους αρμόδιους υπουργούς να αρχίσουν τις προετοιμασίες με την κυβέρνηση του Κοσόβου για να οργανώσουν ένα κοινό πρωτάθλημα ποδοσφαίρου, το οποίο ονόμασε "πανεθνική λίγκα".

"Ας αρχίσουμε με το ποδόσφαιρο ..." δήλωσε ο πρωθυπουργός απευθυνόμενος στον υπουργό αθλητισμού Αλντο Μπούμτσι. "Κάθισε μαζί με τον Κοσοβάρο ομόλογό σου και φτιάξτε το πρόγραμμα», πρόσθεσε.
