Iraq’s PMF: Rocket That Hit our Forces Launched by US-Led Coalition Aircraft

Iraq’s volunteer forces fighting along with the army against Takfiri terrorists said on Friday that a rocket hit a gathering of its commanders in Tal Afar airbase on Thursday, stressing that the attack was launched by an aircraft and not by the Takfiri insurgents.

Islamic State group leader Baghdadi hit in airstrike, says Iraq

The Iraqi air force on Sunday claimed it had hit the convoy of Islamic State (IS) group leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in an air strike in the western Anbar province, close to the Syrian border. The condition of the militant leader remains unknown.

Administration building in Luhansk caught by fire after air strike, 5 dead, 10 injured

The fourth floor of the Luhansk regional administration building was caught by fire after an air strike carried out by a Ukrainian fighter jet. A huge number of ambulances and fire crews have arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire and evacuate the injured.
According to reports, five people were killed and at least 10 were injured in the attack.
The administration building is surrounded by people in military uniforms who are asking the crowd to disperse.

Report: Israel destroyed Hezbollah-bound missile shipment in Syria.

U.S. source tells CNN that latest strikes on Syria were carried out by Israel, in the wake of a similar report by Al Arabiya.

Israel Air Force are behind the recent attack on a military base in the Syrian city of Latakia, a U.S. official told CNN on Thursday.
According to the unnamed source, the strike targeted a shipment of missiles and related equipment Israeli intelligence estimated were to be transferred to Hezbollah.
Earlier on Thursday, citing anonymous sources, Al-Arabiya carried a similar report.

It said that the strikes targeted an SA-8 surface-to-air missile shipment for Hezbollah and that the two targets were destroyed.
In addition to striking Latakia, the Saudi-owned news outlet said, Israeli planes had also staged an attack in Damascus on Wednesday.

In Syrien ist am Donnerstag laut unbestätigten Berichten ein Militärstützpunkt angegriffen worden. Wie RIA Novosti aus syrischen Armeekreisen erfuhr, wurde eine Luftabwehrbasis beschossen, auf der Fla-Systeme S-125 aus russischer Produktion stationiert sind.

Die Basis im Raum Snobar unweit von der Küstenstadt Latakia sei am Donnerstagmorgen von See aus mit Raketen beschossen worden, sagte ein anonymer Armeesprecher. Aus anderen Quellen hieß es, dass es auf dem Stützpunkt in Latakia am Donnerstag eine Explosion gegeben habe. Eine Bestätigung von offizieller Seite liegt nicht vor.
