The Yemeni military backed by the Saudi-led coalition launched an offensive to seize Hodeidah from the Houthis on June 13 after the Shiite rebels had failed to respond to the government's offer to withdraw from the port city in order to peacefully resolve the conflict.

Tiran and Sanafir islands Saudi-Egyptian deal void. Egypt's government can still appeal the decision.

Egypt's Administrative Court ruled Tuesday that a recent Egyptian-Saudi border demarcation agreement which placed the two Egyptian Red Sea islands of Tiran and Sanafir in Saudi waters is void, adding that the two islands should remain under Egyptian sovereignty.

30% in Egypt believe Tiran and Sanafir are Egyptian, 23% Saudi - Poll

A survey carried out by Egypt’s Baseera polling centre revealed that 30 percent of Egyptians polled believe that the Red Sea islands of Tiran and Sanafir are rightfully Egyptian, whereas 23 percent believe they are Saudi.
