A fine giugno, «se non succede nulla, il programma scade». Wolfgang Schäuble non ha avuto molto da aggiungere. Nella conferenza stampa conclusiva del G7 finanziario, il ministro delle Finanze tedesco ha ribadito che le notizie da Atene su un presunto negoziato in dirittura di arrivo, e quelle fornite dai negoziatori di Ue, Fmi e Bce «non coincidono».

Ukraine’s donors: Japan promises Ukraine 7 million dollars in aid to repair infrastructures.

Japan is prepared to extend to Ukraine an extra 7 million dollars in aid for repairing damaged infrastructures in the east of the country and to purchase medical equipment. Japan’s central television channel NHK reports that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzho Abe voiced the proposal at a meeting with Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko at the summit in Milan on Friday.

“Japan is systematically supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine,” Abe told Poroshenko. “In cooperation with the other G7 countries we would like to support the stability of Ukraine.”

Russia’s Medvedev: G7 Support for Ukraine "Cynicism without Limit"

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Thursday accused the Group of Seven of "cynicism" for backing Ukraine's military operation against pro-federalization activists .

"The so-called G7 even talks about the measured actions of the Ukrainian army against its own people," Medvedev told ministers, quoted by the Interfax news agency.

"This is cynicism without limit."
