Russia to retaliate against Austria’s expulsion of four Russian diplomats — MFA

Moscow will retaliate against Austria's decision to declare four Russian diplomats as personae non gratae, the Russian Foreign Ministry said." Russia will give an appropriate response," the ministry told TASS on Thursday.

Earlier in the day, the Austrian Foreign Ministry said that four Russian diplomats had been declared persona non grata. The ministry claims that two diplomats from the Russian embassy had allegedly "committed actions incompatible with their diplomatic status." 

Also, two diplomats from Russia’s permanent UN mission "took actions incompatible with the Headquarters Agreement," the ministry aregued. They were ordered to leave Austria by February 8.
