The west coast of Australia was ravaged by bushfires, Friday, December 10, following weeks of high temperatures along the Margaret River.
No homes have been damaged, nor injuries reported in the region, but flames have spread over a wide area.
Emergency warnings are in effect and some residents have been told to evacuate or shelter in place.
At the same time, eastern Australia has been hit with heavy rains and
flooding.
Scientists attribute Australia’s worsening extreme weather to man-made
climate change. (AFP)
