India' s Kerala Flood Fury: At Least 10 Killed As Landslides Wash Away Houses; Army & NDRF Conduct Rescue Ops

 Heavy rains in Kerala since October 15 evening, left at least 10 people dead and over a dozen missing. The incessant rainfall has further caused flash floods and landslides in many parts of the state. The state govt has sought the assistance of defence forces for rescue operations. 11 teams of NDRF* have also been deployed in south and central parts of Kerala to help in the relief work.
