British Prime Minister Theresa May will tell the EU that "the ball is in their court" as Brexit talks resume in Brussels.
Mrs May will make a statement to MPs in the House of Commons to update them on her speech in Florence which was welcomed by EU leaders.
She will call for flexibility and leadership in the talks and say that the ball is now in the court of the EU 27, and that she wants negotiations to prove the doomsayers wrong.
Brexit talks are set to resume in Brussels later.

But even before she delivers the speech, an EU spokesman hit back in Brussels, saying "the ball is entirely in the UK court for the rest to happen"........https://www.rte.ie/news/2017/1009/910822-brexit/
