Australia's transport minister said Thursday that the Malaysian government has agreed to restart the search for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, although Kuala Lumpur is yet to confirm it.
On Friday announced the deal between Ocean Infinity and the Malaysian government. The Texas-based explorer will search various sections of the Indian Ocean for additional wreckage from Flight 370, which disappeared on March 8, 2014.
The Malaysian plane disappeared with 239 people on board on Mar. 8, 2014, around 40 minutes after it took off from Kuala Lumpur en route to Beijing, when someone turned off the communication systems and turned the plane around, according to an official investigation.
