IRAN: Saudi fishing boat confiscated in Bushehr waters

Manager of Public Relations Department of Bushehr Fisheries Ardeshir Yarahmadi said on Saturday that the IRGC navy forces confiscated a Saudi fishing boat around Farsi Islands in Bushehr waters.


The Saudi flag shipping boat with five Indian nationals on board had entered Iran’s territorial waters for fishing.

All five Indian nationals were arrested and handed over to judiciary officials in the province, he said.

This is the second Saudi vessels entering Iranian waters for fishing in the current month, Yarahmadi said.
