Unprecedented Infighting between Rival Terror Groups in Syria’s Idlib

Fierce infighting between the Takfiri group Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, formerly known as al-Nusra Front, and other rival terror/militant groups operating in Syria, including Ahrar al-Sham is raging on in the northwestern province of Idlib.

According to Tasnim dispatches, deadly clashes between al-Nusra Front terrorists and Ahrar al-Sham militants have erupted in Idlib with reports suggesting they are exchanging fire using heavy and medium weapons.

On Monday, al-Nusra terrorists continued to pound the positions of the rival militant groups, destroying their arms depots.

In response, Ahrar al-Sham militants targeted al-Nusra positions with mortar rounds, inflicting major losses on them.

Rival terrorist groups’ ringleaders have vainly called on al-Nusra Front to stop shelling their positions and instead forge a united front against Syrian troops.
