UK pound falls to lowest level since October ahead of PM's speech

The Pound sterling fell Monday to its lowest level since October against the United States dollar ahead of British Prime Minister Theresa May's scheduled speech on the United Kingdom's Brexit plans.

The currency fell on reports May might announce on Tuesday the UK's exit from the EU single market, according to some analysts.
