dans la journée auprès d'un échantillon représentatif et présélectionné
d'électeurs qui avaient déjà été interrogés sur leurs intentions de vote

ReplyDeleteI actually don't know. I know Nigel's slightly sceptical. I think he's probably worried - after 25 years he's probably entitled to be. We've just done a poll of 10,000 people, it was 52/48. I think the other poll was 48/52, very similar. I think the turnout is interesting. If it is 84%, that's a huge number and it could be people that have never voted before coming out. On the face of it I would think that would probably be Outers rather than Inners."
Mr Banks rated the chances of victory for Leave at "50/50" as he praised Leave.EU's "great" campaign.

Labour's Tom Watson says the referendum has left the UK "more divided"...
ReplyDelete"It's incumbent on David Cameron to try and bridge that divide and heal some of those wounds... and that means his leadership over the next four to six weeks is really important," he adds.
The deputy Labour leader says lessons need to be learned and politicians have got to understand what voters were telling them on the doorstep.
His point is echoed by Iain Duncan Smith who says politics has become too detached from the communities it serves.

From the Barking and Dagenham count in east London: Leave supporters are confident that they will prevail here, and that the result will be in the region of 60% in favour of leave and 40% remaining in the EU...
ReplyDeleteRemain supporters do not seem as confident that they have done well.
Bad weather, including localised flooding, caused travel chaos in the area today and that may have also had a negative impact on turnout.
Voters at one polling station even had to be turned away because of the flooding and directed to others close by.

Ukip leader Nigel Farage has told the Press Association he thinks Britain has voted to stay in the European Union based on "what I know from some of my friends in the financial markets who have done some big polling".

ReplyDeleteLe camp favorable à la sortie du Royaume-Uni de l'Union européenne ("Leave") se détachait plus nettement, vers 04h45 (heure belge), alors que plus de la moitié des circonscriptions électorales ont rendu publics les résultats du référendum pour ou contre le maintien du pays dans l'UE.
Vers 04h45, le "Leave" comptait entre 450.000 et 500.000 voix d'avance sur le camp du "Remain", alors que 210 circonscriptions électorales sur 382 avaient publié leurs résultats. Le "Leave" engrangeait ainsi 51,3% des votes, contre 48,7% pour le "Remain". Les résultats, diffusés progressivement à partir de 00h30 (heure belge), ont longtemps été très serrés, aucun des deux camps ne parvenant à se détacher réellement. (Belga)
