China expressed regrets after the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) launched an earth-observation satellite Sunday morning.
It has been the first time since December 2012 that the DPRK conducts such a test.
Under United Nations Security Council resolutions, the DPRK is banned from test-firing any rocket, based on the ballistic missile technology.
The United States condemned the missile launch from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), saying it represents "another destabilizing and provocation action" and is "a flagrant violation" of multiple United Nations Security Council resolutions, U.S. National Security Advisor Susan Rice said Saturday night.
